Smarty Jones came as close as a horse can get to becoming a Triple Crown winner, after winning the 2005 Kentucky Derby and Preakness Stakes, he came in second place at the Belmont.
This third generation descendant of Mr. Prospector did not make it to the league of Triple Hall legends, but he will always be incredibly loved by his admiring fans. He is known as a "people's horse" because of how well loved he is!

Guests at the 21c Derby Party on Wednesday, May 4, 2016 will have the option to bid on the halters during the silent auction which will begin at 6pm on May 4 and close at 8:15pm sharp.
The top online Bidding for Good bidder will be assigned a proxy bidder during the Derby Party, whereby you will have the option to increase your bid before the close of the silent auction at 8:15pm on May 4. All bidding will end at 8:15pm sharp on May 4, 2016.
