Begin your two night stay in the heart of the historic harbor district at the luxurious Francis Malbone House, Newport’s only 5-Star Diamond award-winning inn. Your Newport experience will include two memberships to the Preservation Society of Newport giving free admission to the cottages operated by the Society, including members’ discount at the gift shops and cafes, as well as a Cocktail Sail for two on the Adirondack II, an elegant 19th-century style 80’ schooner, sailing you from Bowens Wharf in Newport Harbor. This package will also pick up your tab, with a gift certificate to the legendary Commodore’s Room at The Black Pearl, one of New England’s finest restaurants, and a gift certificate to dine at The Skybar at The Clarke Cooke House, the top floor overlooking Newport Harbor. Francis Malbone House: Gift certificate is good for a two night stay, including room, breakfast, afternoon tea, parking, and taxes. Additional nights’ stays are at the responsibility of the winning bidder. Three night minimum stay on weekends Memorial Day to mid-October. No minimum night stay requirement Sunday through Thursday year-round. Dates to be arranged with innkeepers.
Membership to the Preservation Society of Newport: Good for two people. Membership to be arranged through TACT. Membership is good for one year.
The Black Pearl: Gift certificate is good for $150. Winning bidder will need to make their own reservation. Cannot be redeemed for cash. Some restrictions may apply.
The Clarke Cooke House: Gift certificate is good for $150. Winning bidder will need to make their own reservation. Cannot be redeemed for cash. Some restrictions may apply.
Books include: Newport: A Concise History by CPB Jeffreys and Newport Mansions published by The Preservation Society of Newport County. Books can be picked up at the Gala or shipped to winning bidder’s house. Shipping and handling not included.
