Item Description
From Nola Smodic:
The dragon lays one egg every five years and devotes all of her
attention to caring for it until it has hatched and the dragonette has
fledged. Her mate is very jealous of the attention she spends on her
offspring and seeks to destroy the egg. In order to camouflage the
egg, she guilds it with jewels so that it is indistinguishable from
the rest of the hoard. When the new dragon fledges, it takes the
bejeweled shell to begin its own hoard of treasure.
Inspired by nature, the jewelry creations of Nola Jane Smodic are
skillfully crafted works of art. She uses extreme attention to detail
and her eye for color to make each piece fresh and unique. Nola is
happy to call Nashville, Tennessee, home. Nola Jane jewelry can be
found in gift shops and galleries across the Southeast, and in an
increasing number of celebrity collections. Visit her at: Me 'n' Hugh

Thank you for this opportunity to give back to Nashville Children's Theatre and our community. It was a pleasure creating a dragon egg!
