Item Description

The Perfect Summer Wine!

3 bottles of 2014 Eric Kent Wine Cellars Cuvée Renee Sauvignon Blanc, Sonoma County - 92 pts The Wine Enthusiast

From the very first vintage, we set out to make an SB that had all the wonderful freshness and vitality the varietal is celebrated for, yet shied away from the traditional grassiness in favor of exotic floral notes, citrus and tropical fruit. About 90% of the wine is fermented in stainless steel, while roughly 10% finds its way to barrel (5% new, 5% neutral) to add layering and enhance structure.

To our palates, the resulting wine is true to the grape but even more interesting and delicious! Based on critical acclaim and selling out of our last two vintages within a few months, it seems that others agree. So we happily added another 240 cases to our 2014 production in the hopes of having a bit more to go around.

A go-to wine for the summer (and any other time of year), it’s a perfect match for a wide variety of cuisines. Enjoy it fully and often!
