Item Description
Anita Larson is an artist at heart and is a continuing participant in the Denver Hospice Mask Project. She is also known as Celebrant for Life Celebrations, Writer and Researcher. Anita is temporarily residing in sunny Southern California and finding inspiration by the ocean. She is excited to return to the Rocky Mountains and her family of friends in Denver in the near future. A lifelong learner and entrepreneur she connects easily with others who share similar interests. When not creating something in her art studio, you may see her hiking snowshoeing, snowmobiling or riding a Harley with her husband Larry.
While creating this mask Anita was inspired by this beautiful quote:
“When she transformed into a butterfly
the caterpillars spoke
not of her beauty,
but of her weirdness.
They wanted her to change back into what she always had been.
But she had wings.”
