The annual American Music Awards features a star-studded lineup of music's top performers and honors artists in the categories of Pop/Rock, Country, Rap/Hip-Hop, Soul/R&B, Alternative, Adult Contemporary, Latin and Contemporary Inspirational. Past winners include One Direction, Taylor Swift, Ed Sheeran, Imagine Dragons, Luke Bryan, and Beyoncé. Last year’s live performances brought the audience to its feet, highlighted by host Jennifer Lopez’sopening, and continued with Ariana Grande, Alanis Morissette, Demi Lovato, Nick Jonas, The Weekend, Celine Dion and Justin Bieber.

The American Music Awards were created by showman Dick Clark in 1973 as an alternative to the Grammy Awards. While the Grammy Awards are awarded based on votes by members of the entertainment industry, the AMAs are determined by a poll of music buyers. American Music Awards nominations are based on sales and airplay.

Hotel Accommodations
Enjoy a 3-night stay (dates to be determined) in a standard guest room in deluxe accommodations such as Hyatt, Marriott or comparable, in the Los Angeles area, subject to availability.

Airfare
This package includes round-trip coach class service for two from from any major metropolitan airport in the 48 contiguous United States to Los Angeles, CA, subject to availability. Airfare taxes and a $25 per person processing fee are the responsibility of the purchaser.

Business and First Class upgrades are available at the time of booking for an additional fee. Use of frequent flyer miles for upgrades is dependent on specific ticket restrictions as determined by the airline’s frequent flyer program.
