Item Description
Visit legendary artisan cheese company Cowgirl Creamery in its picturesque restored former hay barn in downtown Point Reyes Station.
Join a Cheese 101 class at Cowgirl Creamery's artisan cheesemaking facility in historic, coastal Point Reyes Station and then enjoy lunch, including a sandwich, side salad and beverage from Cowgirl Creamery's Cantina.
During the tasting, you'll learn how cheese is made and taste a full sampling of Cowgirl cheese, fresh and aged. You'll hear about the company, how and why it started, the production process and how to store cheese.
Classes are usually on Fridays at 11 am and run about and hour. Reservations are required. Make sure to book at least a month in advance, as they fill up quickly.
Winning bidder will receive a certificate redeemable with Cowgirl Creamery.
Just minutes away from hiking trails in the Point Reyes National Seashore and kayaking on Tomales Bay.
Item Special Note
Pick Up: School parents (and others who contact us by 9 am on Monday, May 16) can pick up this item at Sebastopol Charter School on Wednesday, May 18, between 2 and 4 pm. Details about pick up location, any additional pick up times, and scheduling a special pick up time will be emailed to winning bidders at the close of auction.
Shipping: If you are not a school parent, this item will be shipped to you at your expense unless you contact us at info@thecharterfoundation.org by Monday, May 16, at 9 am, to elect pick up instead of shipping. The estimated shipping charge for this item is $4.45.
Please note that if the item is a gift certificate, a gift card, tickets, or a similar item, it cannot be insured. We will send it by certified mail. For other items, the shipping charge will include insurance.
The Charter Foundation is not responsible for items lost or damaged in transit.
