Sterling Vineyards offers fine wines, attractive tasting rooms, and warm hospitality, as well as an innovative, self-paced tour.  The iconic winery is perched high above the town of Calistoga on a mid-valley hill. Its stark architectural beauty, state-of-the-art winemaking facility, and panoramic views of Napa Valley from the rooftop deck have attracted visitors from all 50 states for over 30 years.

Clos Pegase is a 450 acre estate winery nestled in the volcanic hills outside of Calistoga. The winery was designed by architect Michael Graves in an architectural competition juried by the San Francisco Museum of Modern Art. The Post-modern temple to wine and art was completed in 1987.

Castello di Amorosa produces primarily Italian style wines while reflecting California’s unique climate, soil and growing conditions. All our red grapes are grown in the Napa Valley around the Castle. White grapes are grown in the Carneros district of the Napa Valley or in the Anderson Valley, as both of these cool areas are ideal for white wine grapes.

The castle resides on 170 acres and consists of 8 levels above and below ground, covering approximately 121,000 square feet (11,200 m2). Among many other features it has: a moat; a drawbridge; defensive towers; an interior courtyard; a torture chamber; a chapel/church; a knights’ chamber; and a 72 by 30 feet (9.1 m) great hall with a 22-foot (6.7 m)-high coffered ceiling.

A must for wine lovers seeking excellence, the setting at Chateau Montelena is one of the most peaceful in the Napa Valley – a stone castle carved into a hillside overlooking a Chinese garden and lake and vineyards reaching out to the base of Mt. St. Helena. This is the winery where many scenes from the movie Bottlerock were filmed.
