Save your appetite, gather nine friends, and join your hosts Tim Brignole and Chef Dorjan Puka for an unforgettable evening of food & wine at Brignole Vineyards, a 15-acre gem located in the heart of East Granby. This Wine Tasting Dinner for Ten will feature at least five exquisite Brignole Vineyard wines paired with a sublime menu provided by award-winning Chef Dorjan, owner of Treva Restaurant and A’Vert Brasserie in West Hartford. The New York Times has called Treva a “gastronomic shrine.” Chef Dorjan’s talent shines in each fresh creation because he keeps it simple, and focuses on the food. Dinner will be served in the vineyard’s Private Event Room.
Date to be set by mutual agreement, but must take place between July 1, 2016 and July 1, 2017. The unused offer is void after this expiration date.
The event will be arranged via mutual agreement between the donors and the purchaser no less than one month prior to the desired event, as outlined in the special notes below.
Item Special Note
Duty of Bidder/Purchaser
- Will coordinate no less than one month in advance of planned event with Treva/A'Vert and Brignole Vineyards to ensure facility and staff availability.
- Offer good from July 1, 2016 to July 1, 2017. The unused offer is void after the expiration date.
Duties of Donors:
Brignole Vineyard
- Will provide use of Private Function Room for paired meal.
- Will provide all wines involved in wine tasting (not less than 5 different wines for sampling).
- Will provide tables, chairs, and linens for tables, to be set up by Brignole Vineyards employees prior to the event in the Private Event Room
- Will provide servers to assist in the serving of wines and meals.
- Will ensure all necessary permits for service of alcohol and food are obtained prior to the event.
- Will ensure catering kitchen is available and fully functional for use by catering staff
Treva/A'Vert Restaurant
- Will provide all necessary food to present complete paired meals for 10 people
- Will provide staff on site to complete preparations of meals prior to serving
- Will provide all necessary plates, silverware and serving utensils for use as part of the tasting meal.

Online Auction Rules and Restrictions
- Restrictions: All bidders must be age 21 and over.
- You will be notified by e-mail if you are awarded the winning bid. If shipment of your item is required, shipping charges will apply and will be billed to your account. Local residents may make arrangements for pick-up beginning May 16, 2016 until May 27, 2016 at West Hartford Town Hall, Room 128.
- Your bid on an item is a binding agreement to pay The Mayor’s Charity Ball for the services/items offered.
- Unless otherwise noted, the deadline on redeeming services will be May 14, 2017.
- The Mayor’s Charity Ball warrants neither the quality nor the value of the items or services auctioned. All items are sold in "as is" condition. Dollar values are estimated and provided by the donor and are not warranted by The Mayor’s Charity Ball.
- Items may not be refunded, returned, resold or exchanged.
- By participating in this Auction, each bidder recognizes that neither The Mayor’s Charity Ball nor anyone who assists in conducting this Auction shall be liable for any occurrence resulting from this Auction by reason of use of auctioned items or services.
