Item Description
“Shark Attack!" by Laura Taylor, grade 8
Medium: Acrylic paint on canvas
This imaginative piece features a monkey is swimming/surfing, minding his own business, and a shark suddenly erupts from the ocean. The image captures the moment, mid-bite, as the shark reaches to swallow the monkey.
Laura decided to spice up the project with a bit of action and danger. The greatest challenge was finding a reference image of a chimp to fit her theme.
