Item Description
“Breaking Between and Out” by Kayley Woods, Grade 11
Medium: Acrylic paint on Canvas
This vibrant portrait brings to mind the popular pop-art picture of Marilyn Monroe, which is broken down and captured the essence of the subject.
Kayley was inspired to do this work by two things: classmate Sara Cooper’s winning work from two years ago and the pop art of Marilyn Monroe. Kayley combined these two to come up with a winning combination.
