Join us at NPN's Chicago Toddler Expo featuring 1-2-3 magic with Dr. Thomas Phelan, PHD on Sat., Jun 18th at Erikson Institute!
NPN's Annual Chicago Toddler Expo provides Chicago families with children under the age of 5 with pertinent information on parenting and lifestyle issues. Workshops will not only provide interaction with a professional on their topic of expertise, but also a chance to connect with and learn from other parents. Expo exhibitors will introduce services dedicated to all things toddler!
KEYNOTE SPEAKER (9am–10:30am): Thomas W. Phelan, PhD, author of the bestseller "1-2-3 Magic: Effective Discipline for Children 2-12"
Phelan's award-winning program provides parents, teachers and anyone involved in childcare with straightforward techniques for managing children—toddler age and beyond—without arguing, yelling or spanking. Parents will learn how to control obnoxious behavior and what to do about common toddler behavior issues. The seminar is intended for parents of average children as well as parents of children with special needs. A registered clinical psychologist, Dr. Phelan has worked with children, adults and families for over 35 years and is the author of numerous books, DVDs and audios, including 1-2-3 Magic: Effective Discipline for Children 2-12 and More 1-2-3 Magic: Encouraging Good Behavior, Independence and Self-Esteem.

Additional workshops will last 45 minutes each. Registration begins promptly at 8am, at which time attendees may select and/or confirm their additional workshops (up to 2), enjoy breakfast and explore the expo filled with businesses and demonstrations from toddler-friendly companies all over the city.
* NPN members will have the exclusive opportunity to select their workshops (up to 2) in advance.
Winning bidder will receive 2 adult tickets to attend.
