Kaiwa offers classes, open studio and play time, workshops, birthday parties, and camps in a variety of media and on a variety of topics!  

Weekly parent Date Nights (Thursdays from 5-8 pm) give parents a chance to treat themselves to a night out on the town for dinner and a movie while the kids play and create art at Kaiwa’s convenient downtown location!

Registration is currently open for 2016 summer camps. Register today and please say thank you for this generous donation on behalf of our school! (If you win the gift certificate, bring it to your first day of camp, date night, etc.)

Kaiwa is offering an Early Bird Special of 5% off the total cost of camp until June 11th!

MISSION STATEMENT

The mission of Kaiwa Art and Play Space is to empower children through dialogue and play to create art that blurs the line between expression and invention in an informal learning environment that connects children to inspired professionals from different fields and challenging ideas.  As a play space, studio, and experimental gallery, Kaiwa inspires children to converse, create, and curate.

Kaiwa is located in a beautiful space in downtown Santa Cruz, CA!  The address is 185 Walnut Ave, Santa Cruz, CA 95060.

2016 SUMMER CAMP COST:

Full Week Half-Day Camp - $225 + $25 materials fee
Full Week Full Day Camp - $435 + $35 materials fee
Children can stay through 12-1 pm at no additional charge!
Option to stay 9-5 pm for addtional $10/day also available upon request.

DATE NIGHT COST:

1 child - $15/hr, 2 children - $22/hr, 3 children - $30/hr
