Item Description
Tipi or Teepee provides warmth or comfort in the winter, is cool in the heat, and can be disassembled and packed away quickly when settling into a new area. Teepees have a chimney opening at the top for insulation when making a fire for cooking. When a Teepee is painted it represents a personal or community experience. This Teepee is hand painted by the students of Aspen Class to create a personal dwelling to represent their experiences at their home away from home. It comes with personalized alphabet pillows showing each students own handwriting illustrating the letter of their name while explaining to the class "My mommy doesn't let me write on pillows!" And "My mommy LOVES pillows!" The pom poms were made of wool by each student using a bucket of water, left to dry and then strung into a garland. The dreamcatcher was hand sewn-embroidered by the Aspen students to hang outside the Teepee. Included is a photo book for your child to read in their Teepee and remember the beautiful making of process.
You and your child can now use this teepee while singing the class game "Echo!" "An echo is a funny thing you can't see it at all. But when you sing someone’s name they can answer with a call. Wherever can you be? Come out so we can see
