The Homestead Restaurant in Bristol, New Hampshire represents the original homestead of Benjamin Emmons. The large two-story frame house built by Emmons, circa 1788, is said to be the oldest house standing in the town of Bristol. Three dining rooms make up the first floor of the original structure. The wide pine board floors and original fireplaces are a step back in time.
There is also a Homestead Restaurant in Merrimack, at 641 DW Highway (old Route 3).
he Homestead menu features a wide variety from Italian classics to steakhouse options and comfort foods. A tavern menu is also available, featuring lighter fare such as flatbread pizzas, burgers and sandwiches.
