Item Description
Jacquetta Green has been both an art instructor and working artist for the past 20 years. After teaching art in Basalt Middle School and Colorado Mountain College for a combination of 15 years, she moved to Denver 6 years ago. While teaching in Aurora, she maintained her love of portrait painting and paints both people and pets by commission. Her style is loose and expressive and seems to capture the essence of her subject. After visiting Italy, Jacquetta is developing her love of painting the landscape around Colorado. Jacquetta expresses that " There is a deep love and connection that I feel when I paint that keeps me so involved in the art of creating".
