Paso Robles winemakers and wine grape growers are in accord when they say "Quality wine begins in the vineyard." Zinfandel from this region tend to be deeply colored and rich due to the intensity of the sun, with fairly bright acidity due to the cool nights.

Marked by a distinctive minerality and ripe molasses-fruit character, our 2010 Richard Sauret Zinfandel exemplifies the allure and beauty of Paso Robles. Layers of dark chocolate cherries, rhubarb jam and molasses open the nose, followed by a touch of zesty pepper spice. Silky and rich, the palate continues with unabated intensity. Small amounts of Alicante Bouche and Petite Sirah lend depth, extending the mid-palate and imparting structure and firm tannins
