Item Description
Slippery Hitch- Wood Cut Print by Bridget Henry
Wood block printing is a form of printing on paper or cloth and the technique originated in China as early as the year 220. The wood block is carved and areas to show 'white' are cut away with a knife, chisel, or sandpaper leaving the characters or image to show in 'black' at the original surface level. For color prints such as this, multiple blocks are carved and prepared. This eye catching piece by Bridget Henry is sure to spark conversation and will delight any living space.
This item is custom matted and framed 17"long and 18" high the print, 16 1/2" long x 13" high.
