Item Description
Comin' & Goin' ...when someone visits the Fish Pier, you see the boats coming in and going out. This shark captures the magic of the pier perfectly. The first seals appeared at the Fish Pier as the Fishing Boats pulled up to unload their catch. Seals in Chatham Harbor now number in the thousands.
The sponsor of this shark is Cape Cod Five. The artist is Tilda McGee Bystrom.
Chatham artist Tilda McGee Bystrom turned to her life-long hobby of drawing and sketching after retiring from a teaching career, and took lessons in painting and drawing at the Chatham Creative Arts Center. She loves painting Cape Cod scenes, particularly depicting the sea and historic landmarks.
