Item Description
This is a special offer for backpackers only, in Austin Creek State Recreation Area. Adjacent to Armstrong Woods State Natural Reserve, Austin Creek offers 5700 acres of habitat, and three backcountry campsites to help you to fully immerse yourself in the wilderness experience. Camp in the silence of the forest, appreciate a rich diversity of native animals and plants, experience wildflower displays, grasslands, chaparral, conifer, oak woodland and riparian habitats.
You are bidding on two nights at any of our three backcountry campsites:
Tom King - 3.5 miles from trailhead
Mannings Flat 1 - 4.8 Miles from trailhead
Mannings Flat 2 - 5 miles from trailhead
All three camps provide you with a picnic table and a fire ring. Bring your own gear, be prepared to pack out your own trash, and filter your water, available in several streams near the campsites.
Each site accommodates up to 16 people. We are sorry, dogs (except service dogs) are not allowed in the backcountry.
