Mary Cay is a ceramicist and painter living in Aurora Colorado. Her work is published in American Artist and Ceramics Monthly magazines, Lark Book 500 Bowls, Contemporary Exploration of a Timeless Design and two books by the American Ceramic Society that featured her signature Kiln Jewels.
"Hospice care was so important to my family as my mother was dying, it is my joy to donate to the Mask Project. This year I made masks using image transfers from my original paintings and added Kiln Jewels. The theme is transformation as expressed in this Haiku written for the project."
