Item Description

Raise your sake glass with friends and enjoy this three bottle assortment.

Hana Kizadura Junmqi Ginko - Kizakura is located in Fushimi, the southern part of Kyoto, the oldest sake brewing area in Japan. In Fushimi, you can still find many of old Saka-Gura (sake breweries) with distinctive white walls, dark wooden paneling and Kawara tiles. This sake is made from 60% polished rice and fragrant sake like gingo should be chilled, around 50 degrees Fahrenheit. Don't drink it too cold or it will kill the delicate aroma and taste.

Yachiyoden White Japanese Shouchu and Yachiyoden Black Japanese Shouchu The word “sake” in Japan can actually refer to all alcoholic beverages in general, although it most often refers to the wine-like rice brew so tightly associated with that word overseas. But in some parts of Japan, most notably the far western and southern regions, the word sake is understood to refer to a totally different alcoholic beverage, also indigenous to Japan, but distilled and not brewed: shochu.

There is no set rule for drinking shochu, but there are preferred ways to drink it. Generally there are five ways to serve shochu. How it is served changes how one will experience and enjoy the many different characteristic tastes and aromas.
