2) Tate 2013 Cabernet Sauvignon, Mt. Veeder, Napa Valley

“In this inaugural Premiere lot for TATE, the first of many. We took our two Cabernet Sauvignon mountain, micro single vineyards that we work with and created an amazing blend. 50% comes from atop Howell Mountain, where this less than an acre vineyard is meticulously hand-tended by the vineyard owner producing perfect fruit that results in amazing aromatics. The other 50% comes from the cool Mt. Veeder appellation. This late ripening vineyard contributes concentration and structure. Together this initial TATE premiere lot is a stunning wine with an amazing ability to age for many years to come.”

3) Ehlers Estate 2012 Merlot, St. Helena Napa Valley

“Another luscious, full, and rich Merlot that illustrates the full potential of the Ehlers terroir. A complex presentation of licorice, black raspberries, red currants, cappuccino, and chocolate cherries. The tannins are at once fine and chewy, and the bold, juicy structure of this wine is what has always made the Ehlers Merlot a Merlot for Cabernet drinkers. 2012 was a great vintage in the Napa Valley. Early spring rains gave us just the water we needed to get the vines growing, then the warm weather set in right on cue. All summer long we enjoyed warm days and cool nights that were so beautiful it was almost too good to be true! Every grape on the estate was picked at optimum ripeness." 4) Limerick Lane (appears to be the wine in the basket but bottle says nothing other than “Limerick Lane”)

5) Libration: Los Carneros Napa Valley 2012 (appears to be the wine in the basket but bottles says nothing other than “Libration”)
