This collagraphic print newly executed by printmaker Mary Ann Wenniger is called “The Blue Hour.” Valued at $600, it references Folly Cove and also the passage of time in all our lives. Signed and printed by intaglio press on 100% rag paper, this print is one of a series available on Cape Ann Coves. Framing was donated by Nor'east Frameworks, a full service high quality custom frame shop in Manchester. The blue wood frame complements the piece beautifully, and the artwork has Tru Vue Conservation Grade 99% UV protection.

Mary Ann Wenniger is an artist, teacher, author, well-respected art dealer and gallerist of forty years in Boston, Rockport, Provincetown, and now in Gloucester, MA. Mary Ann studied Art history at Boston University and New York University, and holds an M.A. in art education from Harvard, and an M.F. A. from Vermont College. She learned printmaking at the Radcliffe Institute and DeCordova Museum. She purposely uses new colors for each print; thus each print is unique.

Wenniger collagraphs are primarily in private homes and are also in some corporate collections, including Bank of Boston, Fidelity Investments, and Rockefeller collection.
