Item Description
Royal Frost® has lovely burgundy foliage that turns yellow-orange to red in fall and accents the beautiful cinnamon to white bark. It was specifically bred for good looks and resistance to the bronze birch borer. ‘Royal Frost’ birch is best grown in moist, acidic, sandy or rocky, well-drained loams in full sun to part shade. Best foliage color occurs in full sun, but plants appreciate some afternoon part shade in hot summer areas. Fast growing!
