Item Description

A three time Olympic Gold Medalist and World Record Holder, Nathan Adrian is one of the top swimmers of his generation. Born in Bremerton, Washington in 1988, Nathan is a two time Olympian, participating in both the 2008 and 2012 Games. The youngest of three children, Nathan followed his brother and sister to the swimming pool at the age of two and started swimming competitively at the age of 5. One of the most recruited high school swimmers in the USA, Nathan ultimately chose to attend the University of California at Berkeley. While at U.C. Berkeley, Nathan was a multiple All-American and NCAA Champion and Swimmer of the Meet in his final NCAA Championship in 2011. Also an Academic, Nathan was an NCAA Academic All-American and winner of The Neufeld Scholar-Athlete Award at U.C. Berkeley, which is given to the graduating male and female student-athletes with the highest cumulative grade-point averages. In addition to his Olympic appearances, Nathan has represented the United States at numerous World Championship and other International Events.                                          

About the Mask Artist: Patricia Jenkins was born and raised in Buffalo, New York and currently lives in the Front Range community of Roxborough. She holds a BS and a MS in Art Education and has taught art in the public schools for over 20 years. She currently works with the Roxborough Arts Council in Outreach Projects.
