Item Description

The Colorado Mammoth are a member of the National Lacrosse League. They have played at the Pepsi Center in Denver, Colorado since the 2003 season. The Colorado Mammoth had the honor of hosting fan number one million, an honor that Commissioner Jim Jennings believed to be rightfully theirs, given the impact they had on the league's attendance that year. In 2008, the Mammoth average attendance per game was highest among Pepsi Center's residents. They are owned by Stan Kroenke who also owns the Colorado Avalanche (NHL), Denver Nuggets (NBA) and the Colorado Rapids (MLS). Since 2014, they are currently the only non-Canadian team in the Western Division.

Dan Coates #37: Named captain of the Mammoth on Dec. 29, 2015, he led Team Canada to the gold medal at the 2015 FIL World Indoor Lacrosse Championship one year after winning gold with Team Canada in the 2014 FIL World Lacrosse Championships at DICK’S Sporting Goods Park in Commerce City, CO. He tied a franchise record by signing a five-year contract in Nov. 2013. In his rookie season in 2012, Coates was fifth in the NLL for loose balls (94) of all non-face-off men. A first-team all-conference selection at Canisius College, Coates was the first defenseman in school history to earn All-MAAC honors.

Adam Jones #16: Sixth in NLL history in goals-per-game average, scoring 2.49 times per game in his four-year career. He enters the season as one of 20 players in NLL history averaging two or more goals per game in his career. Jones led the NLL in goals-per-game average (3.19) in 2015 and became the third player in Mammoth history to score 50+ goals in a season. He scored the 150th goal, 150th assist and 300th point of his career in 2015 and was named an NLL All-Pro Second Team selection in 2015 for the second consecutive season. Jones is a recipient of the inaugural Gary Gait Award, presented annually to the team’s most valuable player and won a gold medal with Team Canada with Mammoth teammate Dan Coates in the 2015 World Indoor Lacrosse Championship in Sep. 2015, after having won gold at the 2014 FIL World Lacrosse Championships at DICK’S Sporting Goods Park in Commerce City, CO in July 2014. He was selected third overall in the 2011 NLL Entry Draft and boasts a career 0.207 shooting percentage in the NLL.

Callum Crawford #98: Signed to a three-year agreement by the Mammoth as an unrestricted free agent on August 19, 2015. A 10-year veteran, he posted 70-plus points in five straight seasons (2010- 2014) before injuries limited him to just 12 games a season ago. His 95 points in 2013 were fourth-most in the NLL and his career-best 96 points in 2010 were third-most in the league. Crawford was selected by the Calgary Roughnecks in the 2005 NLL Entry Draft in the second-round (18th overall). The Mammoth is Crawford’s sixth NLL team, having also played for the Swarm (2010-2015), Rush (2009), Chicago Shamrox (2008), Stealth (2007) and Roughnecks (2006).
