Margaret Keane, American artist, famed originator of the "Big Eye Art" movement worldwide. The controversy involving her paintings was depicted in the Tim Burton movie "Big Eyes". Amy Adams won the Golden Globe Best Actress Award in 2014 for her portrayal of Margaret.
Description and interpretation: "Insight" depicts an eye, symbolic of spiritual insight. Also, it provides the viewer with insight into "the inner child" within all of us. The eye is the only exposed part of the brain and can reveal what is in the brain.
