Item Description
Award winning Boulder painter Astrid Paustian paints in a colorful, impressionistic style. She works in oil, pastel, silk, and mixed media; enjoying different mediums keeps her art fresh and exciting. You can see more paintings and silk scarves on her website www.astridpaustian.com; and at several galleries including the Art Center of Estes Park, and the Boulder Arts and Crafts Gallery. This year’s mask depicts a face hidden within colorful autumn trees. It was inspired by some of Astrid’s oil paintings and the critically acclaimed “Tree of Life” exhibit at the Boulder Public Library, January-March 2016.
