Item Description
Denver native and national and international fine art photographer. I am noted for unique use of, line, depth, light, color, texture, pattern, shape, and composition. I created my process of using sewing needles and wood carving tools to hand etch on my photography. Proud to be considered a “pioneer forging new ground” by combining fine art with fine art photography. Each white line is my creative mark. My motivation comes from a passion and love for detail. I describe my work as contemporary with an “edgy” flare. My etching process continues to evolve as my imagination leads me to discovering new and exciting subjects to enhance and enlighten. In 2014 I was a featured artist on Rocky Mountain PBS in their Emmy Award winning program, Arts District.
"SOUTHWEST SUN"- I designed the mask with a Southwest flare in honor of our Native American's in the United States. The mask is painted with gold oil paint. It is attached to a circular weaving woven with beautiful earth tone twine.
