Item Description
Jeanne Trueax is a Colorado native, currently calling Castle Rock her home. After earning a BA in Studio Art from Colorado Women’s College, she worked as a graphic artist/illustrator for various ad agencies and printing companies “B.C.” (Before Children). Now that her children have grown, she has been able to start painting and illustrating again. She is involved with the Greater Castle Rock Art Guild, the Parker Artist Guild and Zip 37 Gallery. Her artwork is also currently on display at several venues around the Denver metro area.
I love bold, bright "slap in the face" color. I paint images that have a strong graphic arts feel, with subjects that make me smile. Colorado is one of the most beautiful places in the world, and I like to use the color pallet of my home state as much as I can.
