Nestled on the rocky shoreline of Lake Superior in Grand Marais, Stone Harbor is your premier place to find high-quality gear, guided tours, rentals, and friendly outdoor advice. When you walk into Stone Harbor, you’ll be able to connect with a team of employees who are truly passionate about the area and the outdoors. Our owner has been traveling to the Boundary Waters Canoe Area since before it was actually called the BWCA. Our general manager’s motto is, “There is no such thing as bad weather, there is only bad gear.” This love of the outdoors and adventures extends through our entire staff, and they’re excited to share their expertise with you. We have paddlers, hikers, bikers, climbers, fisherfolk, campers, runners, and more who are willing to share their favorite local routes with you.
We know what it’s like to go on a trip and want to experience the true “hidden gems” of the area – those things that are off the beaten path far enough to be exciting and less-traveled, yet still accessible. Our guided tours, like moonlight kayak trips and other adventures, feature the assistance of an expert who has been there before.
The winning bidder may choose ONE of the following:
A WARM WEATHER ADVENTURE:
- Three-hour Lake Superior kayaking tour or SUP Tour (for two)
- Three-hour "Into Fly Casting" (for two)
- Full-day North Shore fly fishing tour (for one)
- Full-Day guided BWCA canoe trip (for one)
OR ONE OF THESE WINTER ADVENTURES:
- XC Ski Rental (for three – or 3-day rental for one)
- Full-Day BWCA Ice Fishing Tour (for one)
Item Special Note
All trips leave from Stone Harbor Wilderness Supply, located on the East Bay of Lake Superior in Grand Marais. Stone Harbor will supply all required equipment, but the winning bidder is responsible for all applicable fishing licenses and/or trail fees. The value of each trip is $110-$170.
