Item Description
A painting of Cypripedium parviflorum, or yellow lady slipper. Native to Leelanau County and found on several Conservancy properties.
An original ink and watercolor painting on paper, with archival mat. Frame is 11 x 14, painting is 8 x 10.
Maia is an illustrator who works out of her studio in the woods north of Cedar. Her paintings are influenced by her love of the natural world. When she isn’t busy creating art for her illustration company, Wander & Gather, she can be found behind her desk at the Conservancy, where she works as a Communications Specialist.
