Artists
Item Description
I was born and raised in Little Rock, Arkansas. My mother taught me how to draw at a very early age. Art has provided a safe place to express my emotions when words could not. In 2001 my stepfather was diagnosed with lung cancer. In 2002 he was admitted to hospice care. This had a profound impact on how I view patient care. My stepfather passed away in late 2002. I turned to art as a way to express my feelings of grief. I have been a Denver resident since 2003 and currently work as a graphic designer. I have shown at many different events and auctions and am known in the artistic community by my moniker, white_lie.
