Item Description
Grab your cutlass, gather your crew and set a course to the 2017 Privateer’s Bash at the Connecticut River Museum in historic Essex, Connecticut! Live music, grog, grub, games, and dancing all feature in this raucous fundraiser for the Connecticut River Museum. Pirate costumes are encouraged (though not necessary) as patrons commemorate the town of Essex’s privateer past. Games and food stations are set up throughout the Museum’s three floors. This year’s Bash is the evening of February 25, 2017 .

Item Special Note
The growth of Privateers in Essex (then Potapaug) during the war of 1812 led to British marines raiding the town, giving Essex the distinction of being one of relatively few American towns to be invaded by a foreign power!
The successful bidder will receive a written confirmation and/or certificate of purchase for two tickets to the Bash.
