Trip Advisor Certificate of Excellence.  Some Trip Advisor reviews:

"Just Gorgeous! Friendly staff on check-in, beautiful hallways and appointed rooms with all of the fixings! Loved every minute of our stay! Breakfast was delicious and the homemade Strawberry jam, well I can't say enough (want to buy a jar of that). The front porch couldn't have been prettier. It was too hot to sit out there but the flowers were perfect in every way. You can tell that everyone who works there feels a sense of ownership the facility. Amazing! Would go back in a heartbeat!"

"We stayed in the hotel on our way to Michigan its a halfway point. Didn't get in until midnight because of bad driving weather. We were assisted immediately no paperwork just our keys, real keys and our parking pass. The bed was so comfortable and the room so quiet. On our way back to South Carolina we stayed again in a bigger room and stayed for breakfast. All I can say is every time I go back to Michigan I'm stopping here."

"Truly a beautiful old hotel sharing its history with Berea College. The students work their way through school so you will see many working in the hotel. The furniture in the rooms were made by students over the years. The room are lovely and each has its own character. We would highly recommend the experience if you are in that part of Kentucky."
