Item Description
Daniel Altshuler is a Classical Sculptor who makes statuary, busts, bas-relief, and medals of prominent individuals that are cast in bronze or carved in stone. His stauary can be seen in universities, hospitals, corporate headquarters, government buildings, museums, galleries, Interior Design showrooms and on the internet.
The commissioned works are typically custom designs for particular buildings or settings. Works which are in limited editions, are usually collected by individuals and utilized by Designers and Art Consultants to enhance the decoration of a home or corporate setting. Other works such as medallions and medals are typically utilized as corporate gifts and anniversary keepsakes for government and corporations.
In 2003-2005, Daniel was a member of the Citizens Coinage Advisory Committee as the Sculptor/Engraver, appointed by Secretary of the United States Department of the Treasury, John S. Snow, as an advisor to him on US Coin design.
This is a limited quantity unminted gold plated 375th Gloucester anniversary medal. It is two (2) inches in diameter.
