Item Description
A day at the Double W Ranch for up to4adultsand3 Children Day begins at 8:00 AM with a breakfast of flapjacks, bacon, sausage, biscuits and gravy.
Followed by rounding up the herd and doing fall processing including vaccinations, ear tagging, branding, castration, and deworming.
A BBQ Lunch will be served at high noon.
Afternoon activities will include shootem up fun including target shooting for accuracy and shooting exploding targets. You will also have the opportunity for axe throwing, knife throwing and archery.
Before the sun sets in the west we will take a ride down to the Red River on 4 wheelers and our jeep. We have three 4 Wheelers.
If you find yourself with any leisure time you can play tetherball, horseshoes, ladder ball, bean bag toss and other yard games.
Dinner will include Steak, Baked Potato and Salad Dinner. Ask for well done at your own peril.
The evening activities will include a camp fire. Smores, Popcorn, Snow Cones and Cotton Candy available on request.
Overnight lodging is included. The cabin has a full bed and a set of twin beds with a roll away bed. The master bedroom is spacious. The bunk room is for sleeping only. The main house has a very nice guest room with a queen bed.
Breakfast will be served in the morning and will include eggs any style including omelets with a variety of stuffins. Flapjacks available on request. Bacon and sausage also included along with plenty of drink choices. You are welcome to hang around for as long as you like on Sunday. We however will go to bed at 8:00 so that you dont feel obligated to stay longer.
The location of the ranch is north east of Dallas 3 miles south of the Red River.
