Decoys and setup will be provided along with standard witty banter and storytelling (lies) common in a hunting situation. Presence of ducks & geese cannot be guaranteed. These are migratory birds, so the weather will play a large role in determining when this package should be redeemed. Since Braidwood Lake never freezes, birds tend to concentrate here even more when other water in the area is frozen over. Therefore, typically, the colder, the better.
We will meet at the check-in station, which requires driving 40-50 yards on a dirt track, accessible by car. From there we will be driven in a club vehicle to the pit site. Walking requirements will be minimal. There will be 3-5 steps down into the hunting pit, so this is not fully handicapped-accessible.
Additional guests and additional days are available for purchase directly from the club. The pits hold up to 5 hunters simultaneously (including guide).
