Barbara is Vice President of Network Services Marketing for AT&T Entertainment Group. Her team has responsibility for the company's portfolio of consumer wireless services including mobile data, voice, messaging, video calling, mobile applications, and device and user experiences.Roden's team is responsible for driving new services and features for AT&T's wireless customers over the 4G LTE network. In recent years, that work includes a litany of network-based products that enhance the customer experience, such as high-definition voice, video calling, IP-based messaging, Wi-Fi calling, sponsored data, and AT&T's NumberSync Service.Prior to this role, Roden was Assistant Vice President of AT&T Mobility's Network Product Management Organization with responsibility for planning AT&T's migration to 4G LTE and IP-based communications. She also served as Executive Director of AT&T Mobility's Long Term Planning Organization, setting the company's strategy for new products and services such as Mobile Payments, Mobile Advertising, Connected Devices, and Home Security.Roden has broad telecommunications experience through a series of assignments within AT&T and BellSouth including: Software Development, Enterprise Sales, Systems Engineering, Network Architecture & Engineering, Strategy, and Marketing.In addition, Roden has start-up experience as a founder of Hatteras Networks raising $28M in venture capital (ComVentures, Bessemer, and Columbia Capital). Hatteras focused on Ethernet in the last mile using bonded copper pair.Roden holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Computer Science from Lehigh University in Bethlehem, Pennsylvania. She received an MS in Computer Science from the Georgia Institute of Technology (Georgia Tech). She resides in Atlanta with her husband David, and daughters Erin and Kira
