The Blue Mingo Grill-$50.00                                                                       The Blue Mingo Grill and its creative grill cuisine came into its own in 1994, when its predecessor, Dot's Landing, could no longer keep up with the local mariners' demands for some good, wholesome, nourishing food that was representative of the forward-thinking Boatyard establishment. The Grill quickly became known, both locally and abroad, for its fresh, innovative menus, its savvy sophisticated clientele, and the breathtaking views -- both by day and by night, in the rain or under the sun -- of the Lake and surrounding hillsides.

Bocca Osteria-$50.00                                                                        Founded in 2011, Bocca Osteria is a small, family-owned Italian restaurant located in scenic Cooperstown, NY. For years, our family served New York style pizza, generally recognized for its thin, crispy crust, with two other local pizzerias. However, I always wanted to try my hand at Neapolitan-style pizza due to my parents heritage.  Both from Naples, Italy, my mother’s cooking was something that I wanted others to experience first-hand. In fact, my mothers family in Italy still have their own trattoria to this day. They inherited the trattoria from my grandfather, who opened it following World War II.

With help from my uncle living in Italy, Fiorentino Falso, we purchased a six-ton custom-built oven from Naples, Italy, and had it shipped over to the United States. Also with the help of two other chefs, Jeremy Harris and Mark Harrington, we opened Bocca Osteria in January 2011. My mother prepares fresh gnocchi and fettuccine daily, but we are best known for our Neapolitan pizzas. With toppings like prosciutto, figs, and truffles, you will feel like you are enjoying your very own slice of Italy.

Spurbeck's Grocery Store  $10.00                                                  "Greatest little old-school mom-n-pop grocery - literally, run by 3rd generation elderly couple who are as charming as the store itself, and the town. One of a kind new york sharp cheddar cheese. Best of all, the biggest and best beer selection in town, at the lowest prices too!

Doubleday Cafe-$25.00                                                                        "Great food, great services, great prices! Casual, family friendly. I would definitely come back. Gluten free options!"

Alex's Bistro $50.00

Located on Main Street in Cooperstown, Alex's serves lunch and dinner year round. Dishes vary from Salmon Sesame Noodles, Jamaican Slow Roast Goat Curry and Moroccan Saffron Lamb Tagine. Chef Alex Webster runs two well reviewed restaurants in upstate New York, Alex's Bistro in Cooperstown and Cantina De Salsa in Cherry Valley. ... Cantina de Salsa

Cantina de Salsa  $50.00

Cantina is a fun restaurant. The food is a sort of Mexican - TexMex combination straight from Alex Webster's culinary imagination. Margaritas and Sangrias are delicious. They are open for dinner and Sunday brunch. The atmosphere is festive, especially on a bustling night. Reservations are a good idea. One of my favorite meals is the pulled pork burrito.

Since 1887, Schneider's Bakery  has been serving Cooperstown residents and visitors alike some of the tastiest baked goods around! Everything from moon pies and cupcakes, to chocolate chip cookies and homemade donuts, can be found at Schneider's. See the bakers in action through their large picture window. Open from 6:30 a.m. - 5:30 p.m. Monday through Saturday, and 7:30 a.m. - 2:00 p.m. on Sunday. $10.00 gift certificate
