Item Description

Last year, these nightlights were high bidders and folks begged for more this year!

These four nightlights were made from thin slabs of rocks, cut by Mel Glick, Wakarusa, Indiana. He also carefully styled this box to store the nightlights and an additional beauty of a rock is part of the clasp.

Clockwise, as viewed from the top of the display:

1. A geode, sliced through the middle, likely from Arizona or New Mexico. Note the multiple foci of crystal formation and the different color rings, due to various minerals present at different times of crystal deposits.

2. A stone from a farmer's field in Elkhart county, Indiana. The yellowish matrix (cement) is translucent, a rarity among the stones generally found in this area.

3. A Pudding stone slice, found in Indiana and probably transported by a glacier stretching from Canada to a field in Elkhart, IND.

4. Amethyst crystals growing outward from an opaque rock. Amethyst crystals have been found in the Upper Peninsula of Michigan, where they were once mined commercially.

Item Special Note

These nightlights can be shipped for additional cost.
