Jay Cary was recently appointed to lead Marketing Strategy and Customer Loyalty for AT&T Mobility. Jay's role is to differentiate AT&T mobility and entertainment through the products, experiences, services and offers we make available to customers. In addition to driving loyalty for AT&T's consumer division, Jay also runs Campaign Management and Optimization with responsibility for fulfilling on and optimizing the billions of marketing communications we send annually to AT&T consumer customers.
Prior to this recent move, Jay was global head of digital strategy and product management for the Global Corporate Payments division of American Express responsible for differentiating Corporate Card and payments through innovative digital and mobile products.
Jay held various roles in an 18 year career at American Express. Prior to running digital, Jay was Vice President, Strategic Business Development responsible for creating start-up businesses within American Express to drive incremental, non-card revenue streams from the Corporate Card base. He also held the position of Vice President, Customer Experience responsible for online and offline customer experience across Corporate Card and for driving clients to use online solutions. Jay held various other roles in Europe including Director, Loyalty Marketing where he was responsible for development and management of a company-level loyalty program across 6 European countries. Prior to American Express, Jay was European Marketing Manager at Barclaycard in the UK.
Jay has a Bachelor of Arts in Business, Spanish, French and Catalan from the University of Swansea. He recently relocated from New Jersey to Atlanta with his wife Sam and two boys, Ben and Ollie.
