Item Description
Jiaozi feast for 6
Traditionally served on Chinese New Year and good all year round!
These classic Chinese dumplings filled with cabbage, pork, ginger and garlic are served directly from bamboo steamers. Mix your dipping sauce of Sichuan pepper, vinegar and soy sauce at the table to your individual tolerance for heat. You won’t believe how many of them you will eat….but who’s counting!
Your meal also includes soup and fruit.
Wilma learned to love jiaozi from the visiting Chinese professors who attended Goshen College in the early 1980s. While on SST in China with Goshen College in 1983 her ESL students helped her perfect her jiaozi-making technique. She has been hosting jiaozi feasts in her home ever since.
A festive “slow food” experience best with plum wine and lots of friendly conversation!
