Perched on a cliff overlooking Narrow Cove and the Atlantic Ocean, surrounded by landscaped sculpture gardens, the OMAA houses a collection of over 2,000 works of American art. Included in the collection are works by internationally known artists Robert Henri, Marsden Hartley, John Marin, Rockwell Kent, and Mark Tobey. Founded in 1952 by artist and philanthropist Henry Strater, this is the only museum in Maine dedicated exclusively to American modern art.

The Currier Museum of Art is an internationally-renowned art museum located in Manchester, New Hampshire.
