Item Description

Enjoy Thanksgiving week in Inverness, California in a simple one-bedroom, one-and-a-half bathroom woodland cabin in Second Valley.  Sleeps up to five people, including kids. Feast on a pastured heritage turkey from Tara Firma Farms and enjoy a Blue Waters Kayaking paddle adventure for two right on Tomales Bay, outside your door!

Thanks to a generous donor member of Point Reyes National Seashore Association and her family, enjoy a fireplace and hot tub at this ideally situated rustic Inverness cabin. Great for locals with extended family visitors, a romantic couple or as family holiday get-a-way.

The Inverness cabin is only available Monday, November 21 through Sunday, November 27, 2016.

In addition, Tara Firma Farms offers free farms tours every Saturday and Sunday at noon. The winning bidder is welcome to join a tour!

Hike the hills and beaches of adjacent Point Reyes National Seashore and Tomales Bay before and after enjoying an heirloom turkey from Tara Firma Fams, a sustainable farm in Petaluma. Pasture-raised Heritage turkeys are well known for their rich flavor. The birds are allowed unrestricted access to the great outdoors and are fed a special ration feed formula, always GMO-, antibiotic- and hormone-free. Tara Firma Farms knows turkeys!

Blue Waters Kayaking, a proud partner of the Point Reyes National Seashore Association Field Institute, is the oldest and only full service kayaking outfitter in Point Reyes, featuring two waterside locations on Tomales Bay and one location on the beach of Yorty Creek Recreation Area at Lake Sonoma.

Come live, eat and play like a locavore in Inverness for Thanksgiving week, bid today!
