Item Description
This scene on this handpainted stein is of men and women gathered around a table in the countryside. There is a gentleman playing a guitar as everyone socializes and drinks. There is a German saying and 1759 stamped on the side and bottom of the stein. There is also an 8 off by itself on the bottom of the stein. Part of the detailing is raised. Overall it is in good condition but some of the paint is worn from use over the years. There is a little paint missing where the peweter handle used to attach. Pewter was often removed and melted down during the war. The bottom also has an 8 and Germany stamped on the bottom.
It stands 7" tall, opening at top is 2 3/4", and base is 3 1/2".
NOTE: Winning bidder is responsible for all shipping and handling costs, including insurance, if necessary.
