The Map Room has a wide and great selection of beer. They also read a book called The Great Good Place by Ray Oldenburg. It bemoaned the lack of “third” places in America, places where people go for social nourishment, places outside of home and work. They were inspired to make our bar a third place, to create an environment that fostered community. Map Room aims to be a place where people from all walks of life come together, hoist a pint and make friends.
Northside Bar & Grill has been a staple of the Wicker Park neighborhood for decades. Conveniently located right in between the famous Six Corners intersection and the newly renovated 606 Elevated Trail, they offer something for everyone. Their massive beer list includes local selections, craft specialties, and recognizable favorites.
