Item Description
Leigh spent many summers working in Cooperstown and she became enchanted with her environment. In this painting (oil on wood paneling) Leigh interprets evening on Lake Otsego and one of the lake's most famous icons, King Fisher Tower, in an impressionist style. She captures the romance of this view.
Presently, Leigh is a second year student at the Cooperstown Graduate Program. Last summer she interned at the National Marine Corps Museum in Quantico, VA, creating programs for youth.
She has been using oil paints for three years, having used other media in the past.
