Watercolor (Image, 21 x 29 1/2 inches; frame, 30 x 38 1/2 inches)
Wendy Hale, originally from New York City, grew up immersed in a world of art and architecture. After a career in urban planning, she became inspired to paint watching her son use the watercolors in his Crayola paint box. Her art explodes with these brilliant colors! The Meeting Place is an impressionistic watercolor with shadowy, haunting imagery.
Wendy is active in the Copley Society and the New England Watercolor Society as well as being an overseer at Fuller Craft Museum.
